(you know how some guys will take it personally if you don't answer their lewd comments and go off on you. well that's what happens to this young haitian lady who is fresh off the boat as she walks the crowded streets of new york. told in first person, in a conversation with herself, she comments on the ill manners of those annoying hecklers while comparing them with how well mannered and reserved she is, but in her mind you can hear all her rage being spewed out. through her dialogue you get the sense that she comes from a humble background and is extremely class conscience. the reason why it's written in creole is because there are too many humorous haitian expressions that'll be lost in translation. if you're really curious, you can use this online english-creole dictionary at http://www.kreyol.com/dictionary/Hh.html.)
